Rwanda’s MP Nyandwi passes on

Hon Nyandwi Desire who was a member of Parliament dies aged 60 in King Faisal Hospital, this Friday morning.

The news of his death was confirmed by Mukama Abbas, vice president of chamber of deputies.

Nyandwi sudden death comes while nation is mourning another member of parliament Senator Jean de Dieu Mucyo who died last week.

Hon Nyandwi was rushed to hospital on Wednesday due to illness that is yet to be announced.

He has been in government for years after 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. He served as prefect of former Gitarama prefecture, later he was appointed as Minister of Local government, where he moves to be an MP, the place he has occupied till he dies.

He was in the house of representative on membership of RPF Inkotanyi.He was specialized in agriculture.
